KYO “In the Capital” was more than a launch film — it was a cultural moment. As KYO’s founder Zaim prepared for the flagship store’s grand opening, he faced a creative challenge: how do you present a brand in a way that feels cinematic, emotional, and truly grand?
Instead of a conventional promo, FLO approached the project as a narrative-driven short film crafted with the same intentionality as cinema. Every frame was designed to embody KYO’s identity, capturing both the energy of the opening and the deeper story behind the brand.
The result struck a chord. The film went viral in Brunei, gaining wide recognition on Instagram and sparking genuine conversation. The response was overwhelming with messages pouring in from Bruneian locals who felt seen and inspired by the storytelling.
This project proved how powerful narrative-driven branding becomes when it moves beyond advertising and transforms into a shared cultural experience.
