MY SAUNA

Commissioned by My Sauna, this film was directed, shot, and edited by Flo as part of their branded content campaign. The visual narrative features Rui Okoye, professional baseball player for the Yomiuri Giants, and Monica Okoye, a Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver medalist in women’s basketball. The concept draws contrast between the high-intensity nature of elite sport and the quiet restoration My Sauna offers. Built around seamless transitions, kinetic symmetry, and atmosphere-driven cinematography, the film positions My Sauna not just as a product — but as a ritual for recovery, balance, and presence.

The goal was to craft something that felt real — to show the ritual of recovery not through explanation, but through movement and stillness. I wanted to reflect the lifestyle of high performers like Rui and Monica, and how stillness plays just as critical a role as effort. Every creative decision — from lighting to pacing — was guided by feeling: clean visuals, natural textures, no distractions. This was never about showing what a sauna looks like. It was about showing what it means — for those who give everything, and need somewhere to come back to themselves.
